How to Mirror Hard Drive

Part 1: How to Mirror Hard Drive

First of all, you need a hard disk mirroring software: Wondershare WinSuite 2012.

Step 1. Run the program on your computer

Run the program on your computer after downloading and installing. Move to the "Disk Management" option. Then you'll get the interface below. Click the "Clone Entire Disk" to continue.

Note: this "Clone Entire Disk" is not a normal one that can only backup your data. It can mirror hard drive to another partition or disk, including Windows, programs, files and personal settings, etc.

Step 2. Select the source disk

Here, all your disk on the computer will be detected and displayed by the software. Select the disk that you're about to mirror as teh source disk, and click "Next" to move to the next step.

Step 3. Choose the destination disk

Make sure which disk you want to mirror your source disk to. Connect it well to the computer, and choose it here. Then press "Next", and you're starting hard disk mirroring.

Note: The destination disk should be larger than the source one, or you'll fail to mirror hard drive.

Step 4. Start to mirror your disk to another

When mirror hard drive begins, the software will remind you that the mirroring will overwrite all data on your destination disk. If you've backed up the data, confirm it and start mirroring. After a few seconds, you can finish your mirror hard drive work as follow.
